PowerBook G3
Whilst the PowerBook range of laptops were not strictly MacBooks they still come under the same umbrella of Apple laptop products. They were the prelude to the newr MacBook Pro ramge and aimed at business and professional users.
The very first PowerBook G3 laptop was launched in 1998, although it was still techincally an Old World ROM Mac. Elements of the PowerBooks design came from the older 500 range of PowerBook, the new design had sporting dramatic curves and a jet black case. Some retro collectors still buy these, and there is certainly a used or second hand market for the PowerBook range.
